March 14 2017 - A powerful Nor'Easter / blizzard affected the Northeast, dumping nearly 2 feet of snow in many locations in New York State. Timelapse video shows how the much of the heavy snow piled up and then was sculpted into interesting shapes by the strong winds.

Jan 29, 2017 - Pulaski, NY. Several intense bands of Lake Effect snow off Lake Ontario blanketed the area, creating frequent whiteout conditions and nearly impossible travel conditions.

January 7, 2017 - An intense blizzard affected all of eastern New England, with 1.5 feet of snow, and winds over 40mph. This video was shot from the Scituate Lighthouse, and later in Plymouth MA.

Jan 23, 2016 - Despite early predictions of only around 12" of snow for the New York City area, forecast models began changing the day before, indicating a growing potential for much more. The storm delivered even more, with storm snowfall totals around 28" in Queens, a new record. This video features video from the NJ shore near Belmar, Freehold, Lawrence Harbor. From there, we went through the Lincoln Tunnel to midtown Manhattan, and then finally back into Queens. Cars were buried up to their side mirrors and many were covered up completely!

The record-breaking winter of 2015 continued with another strong blizzard affecting eastern MA on Feb 14-15 2015, with almost 2 feet of snow and winds over 50mph. This video was shot from the streets of Plymouth, MA, showing strong winds and frequent white out conditions.

January 9-10, 2015: An intense 2-day round of Lake Effect snow dumped over 4 feet of snow on the towns along the eastern shores of Lake Ontario. This video is from the Watertown, NY area, showing the effects on highways, and local towns near and north of Watertown. The wind was gusty and led to frequent white-out conditions on the roads.

Feb 2, 2015 - About 9" of snow fell over southeast NY. This timelapse shows how the snow piled up overnight and throughout the day. Various snowplows were out trying to keep traffic moving, but the roads were still very slick.

January 4 2015 - Poughkeepsie, NY. About 2"-3" of wet snow created icy roads and hazardous travel for drivers around town. Many got stuck trying to go up a hill and needed help to turn around.
